The first goal of this study was to scan geophysical well logs that were only
available in analog form (paper printed), aiming to these information to have
greater reach through the integration of these scanned well logs in SIAGAS on
the CPRM site. The used wells are situated in the region of Belém, islands of
Outeiro and Mosqueiro. The digital logs generated were placed side by side and
vertically aligned with a transverse line situated in each well at zero elevation (sea
level). Correlation was made between the well logs to identify aquifers. With these
determinations, we sought to identify the lateral continuity over the wells of each
section. And for each section of geophysical well logs a geological section was
generated showing the lateral continuity of the aquifers as well as the clay layers
that appear between these wells. In this study we identified the presence of
numerous clay layers, they may even be understood as lenses along the permporous layers, which may be related to the sedimentation environment; however, the perm-porous layers identified as aquifer have good lateral continuity and often large thicknesses which indicates that have great supply potential, which is verified with information from reports of these wells, where the pump tests show
supply capacity greater than 140m3 / h. |
