Discusses social relationships that result in physical boundaries of collective belonging land of a social group calling itself collectors of açaí, but specifically the Monteiro family group in Burnt Island. Results of the research show that the intensification process of formal relations with the land and territory, by recognizing the Burnt Island as Agroextractive Settlement Project and the growing insertion in the market mainly through intensification of acai sales has contributed to a process of "formal invisibility" of their specific territoriality and the territorial reordering of land occupied by collectors of açaí pointing to new challenges and opportunities before the formal recognition of their possessions. Este estudo de caso em uma das ilhas que compõe o recorte político-administrativo de Afuá, município pertencente ao Marajó, busca contribuir para o entendimento do processo de territorialização e construção de territorialidades específicas de comunidades tradicionais em contextos de intensificação das relações de mercado e formalização das relações fundiárias. Discute-se as relações sociais que resultam em delimitações físicas de terras de pertencimento coletivo de um grupo social autodenominado tiradores de açaí, mas especificamente do grupo familiar Monteiro, na Ilha Queimada. Resultados das pesquisas mostram que o processo de intensificação das relações formais com a terra e o território, através do reconhecimento da Ilha Queimada como Projeto de Assentamento Agroextrativista e a crescente inserção no mercado principalmente através da intensificação da venda do açaí tem concorrido para um processo de “invisibilização formal” de suas territorialidades específicas e para o reordenamento territorial das terras ocupadas pelos tiradores de açaí apontando para novos desafios e oportunidades diante do reconhecimento formal de suas posses. 2019-09-03T18:15:09Z 2019-09-03T18:15:09Z 2016-09-02 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Especialização SILVA, Elton Carlos Garcez da.
