It is characterized as a gold province, with few detailed geological studies. The objective of the study is to present the results relative to geological mapping, with emphasis in the structural data, to increase the knowledge of the geometry and kinematics in the exposed rocks, as well as correlate the main tectonic events in the region with the structures found in this work. The area that was chosen for this work is located on the border of the cities: Oiapoque (northwest) and Calçoene (southeast), nearby the Lourenço Village, northeast of Sierra Lombarda. The study used several remote sensing products in this mapping, including: satellite, radar and aerogeophysical images, allowing through analyzing visual, interpretations at different scales, which had as main objective the visualization and the location of the macrostructures (lineations and structural lineaments), aiming to better characterize the deformation behavior of the area. Were recognized five main groups of rocks: gneisses, amphibolites, granites (TTG suite), granitoids and mafic rocks, whose geological context is characteristic of high-grade terrains, and later the inclusion of Cassiporé Mafic Dikes that originated the mafic rocks. Structurally, the area is embedded in Shear Belt Tumucumaque, which shows similar features to Itacaiúnas Belt, with general NW-SE direction, which predominate transcurrent systems outlined by asymmetric and symmetric duplexes, also showing deformation with NE-SW direction, attributed to events subsequent to formation of the general direction. A região de Lourenço, localizada no centro-norte do estado do Amapá, está inserida no contexto geológico da borda do Complexo Guianense, onde ocorrem diversos depósitos minerais. É caracterizada como uma Província Aurífera, com poucos estudos geológicos detalhados. O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar os resultados referentes à cartografia geológica, com ênfase nos dados estruturais, para se compreender melhor a geometria e cinemática das rochas expostas, assim como correlacionar os principais eventos tectônicos que atuaram na região com as estruturas encontradas nesse estudo. A área escolhida está localizada na divisa dos municípios: Oiapoque (noroeste) e Calçoene (sudeste), às adjacências da Vila Lourenço, a nordeste da Serra Lombarda. No mapeamento foram utilizados diversos produtos de sensores remotos, entre eles: imagens de satélite, radar e aerogeofísicas, permitindo, através da análise visual, interpretações em diferentes escalas, que tiveram como objetivo principal a localização e visualização das macroestruturas (lineações e lineamentos estruturais), objetivando uma melhor caracterização do comportamento deformacional da área em estudo. Foram reconhecidos cinco grupos principais de rochas: gnaisses, anfibolitos, granitos (suíte TTG), granitoides e rochas máficas, cujo contexto geológico é característico de terrenos de alto grau, e posteriormente a inclusão dos Diques Máficos Cassiporé originaram as rochas máficas. Estruturalmente, a área do trabalho está inserida no Cinturão de Cisalhamento Tumucumaque, onde se observa um quadro semelhante ao Cinturão Itacaiúnas, com direção geral NW-SE, no qual predominam sistemas transcorrentes delineados por dúplexes simétricos a assimétricos, mostrando também deformações com direção NE-SW, atribuídas a eventos posteriores a formação da direção geral. 2019-09-04T13:12:52Z 2019-09-04T13:12:52Z 2012-10 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Graduação FONSECA, Rudson Negrão.
