This monograph presents a case study focusing on geological exploration techniques and geochemical prospection from geological mapping of semi-detailed (1:25.000), direct investigation methods, sampling campaign and geochemistry interpretation applied to mineral search from gold and other metals in Metasediments of the Serra da mesa Group – city of campinorte, state of Goiás. The work consisted mainly in the interpretation of results obtaines in geological mapping and sampling campaign steps and surface geochemical analyzes obtained over eight years of mineral research carried out by companies Cetenco S.A. and Campinorte Mining S.A. The work consisted of about 800 (eight hundred) description of outcrops and more than 1.000 (one thousand) chemical analysis, mainly stream sediments, concentrates bateia and exploratory wells. There were local nomenclatures proposals for changes in shale found and held one brittle structural, focused on comprehension of deformational events and characterization of gold-bearing quartz veins. As s result, they were prepared 11 (eleven) geochemical maps of surface, ranging from maps with points of concentration and isoteores curves, thus defining possible targets for mineral exploration in future mining fronts for substances os interest. |
