This work aims to contribute to the study of issues related to the production and accumulation of garbage in the urban environment, warn society of the harmful chemical contaminants mainly from the "junk" in the environment with resulting contamination of surface water sources and sub superficial. Urban waste is now a global problem and specifically in Brazil, has become a public health problem; with increasing power consumption combined with the consumerist culture of the society, new garbage risks have become increasingly frequent. In the era of oil, plastic waste has become evident now in the era of electronic inputs we have the presence of electronics that are an accumulated in several hills. This paper discusses two methodologies for the proper management of e-waste; the first part of the methodology is the recycling of e-waste that is, discharged into the environment, bringing serious damage to soil and water, and result in serious health risks to the chain of living beings. The second part of the methodology discusses the characterization of the waste produced on campus Paraense Emilio Goeldi Museum. In this study, we sought to highlight the real situation experienced by the surroundings of the avenue of de river channel population. Cipriano Santos, for it was used record field (Photography), data collection (application of socioeconomic and environmental questionnaire for the population living on the banks of the of de river channel), field notes and direct observations (garbage often discarded in the area of de river channel) and observations indirect (satellite images and maps). All the records will compose the database for raising issues related to current sanitation situation experienced by the population, frequency of waste disposed in the channel area of the Avenue Cipriano Santos (Belém) and socioeconomic and environmental characterization partner of the resident in the around of the channel.
