The management of hospitals and medical clinics has undergone important changes over the years and significant advances in the resources used to assist in the management of the most varied issues involving the hospital environment. This environment, considered complex, makes the hospitals are inserted in an increasingly competitive and demanding scenario. One of the solutions employed was the development of computational tools that managed the whole process of patient admission, control and that facilitated the generation of reports. In view of this, this work sought to reach the essential characteristics for software that can add the routine of the hospital environment. After the implementation of the software, it was identified great satisfaction of the subjects the usability of the software and the benefits that it would bring to their work routine. Given this, the work accomplished achieved its proposed objectives. O trabalho aqui apresentado propõe o desenvolvimento de um software que auxilie na administração dos processos de enfermagem da clínica médica do Hospital Municipal de Urgência e Emergência de Castanhal. A gestão dos hospitais e clínicas médicas vem sofrendo importantes transformações ao longo dos anos e significativos avanços em relação aos recursos utilizados para auxiliar na condução das mais variadas questões que envolvem o ambiente hospitalar. Esse ambiente, considerado complexo, faz com que os hospitais estejam inseridos em um cenário cada vez mais competitivo e exigente. Uma das soluções empregadas foi o desenvolvimento de ferramentas computacionais que gerenciassem todo esse processo de admissão de pacientes, controle e que facilitasse a geração de relatórios. Diante disto, este trabalho buscou atingir as características essenciais para um software que consiga agregar a rotina da ambiente hospitalar. Após implementação do software identificou-se grande satisfação dos sujeitos a usabilidade do software e dos benefícios que o mesmo traria para sua rotina de trabalho.
