From an interdisciplinary approach to the relationship between Museology and Archaeology, this study aimed to reflect and discuss the cultural heritage and its preservation and socialization. The research has taken as its object the Historical Site of Mill Murutucu in which this is an important cultural heritage which is located in Belém-PA, Brazil. Although this site is a fallen heritage, this does not stop the problems related to the management and protection by the government. Therefore, we try to reflect on the importance of preserving this heritage through a relationship with the community that lives around it. As research methodology interviews were held with visitors from a group of CEASA employees during the fieldwork in the excavation occurred at the site in July 2014. Thus, after a deep analyze of the interviews, we could plan educational actions which may be taken in the future, in order to maintain the place’s preservation and development with the society.
