In order to guarantee the quality and continuity of service, used by mobile devices in the use of streaming, in the migration between networks with different technologies. The main objective of this work is to evaluate the quality of service and performance of a dual-interface device, which connect simultaneously to two heterogeneous networks (Wi-Fi and 4G). So that there is no competition in the exchange of packets between the two interfaces, thus proposing a viable solution to mitigate the impacts of vertical handover. The tool used to evaluate, perform and obtain the results was the Network Simulator. All the results were satisfactory, especially the results obtained by the traffic flow, where there was an improvement of one hundred percent in relation to the scenario using traditional mobile device. This is because traditional mobile devices use a single interface in connection with heterogeneous networks. Com o aumento exponencial das redes sem fio heterogêneas na atualidade, houve um crescente interesse pela comunidade acadêmica por questões voltadas à problemas de handover vertical. Com o intuito de garantir a qualidade e continuidade de serviço, utilizadas pelos dispositivos móveis no uso de streaming, na migração entre redes com diferentes tecnologias. O principal objetivo deste trabalho, é avaliar a qualidade de serviço e desempenho, de um dispositivo com Dual-interface, que se conectam simultaneamente a duas redes heterogêneas (Wi-Fi e 4G). Para que não haja concorrência na troca de pacotes entre as duas interfaces, propondo assim, uma solução viável para mitigação dos impactos ocorridos pelo handover vertical. A ferramenta utilizada para avaliação, desempenho e obtenção dos resultados, foi o Network Simulator. Todos os resultados foram satisfatórios, principalmente os resultados obtidos pelo tráfego da vazão, onde houve uma melhora de cem por cento em relação ao cenário com utilização de dispositivo móvel tradicional.
