Resumo:
The objective of this article is to show the potential of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and the Duolingo application, in the Spanish Language classes. The field research was done in the school E. E. E. F. M Esmerina Bou Habib – Abaetetuba – Pará, in the class of the 2nd year of high school, tomorrow. It is a qualitative research on the use of technologies and the Duolingo platform in Spanish language classes. The main theorists used were: Adell (1997), Almeida (2003), Cabero (1996), Moran (2009) and Zichermann (2011). It concludes with that work that the platform was interesting and qualified to be being worked both inside and outside the class, providing a better understanding of the Spanish language and having a dynamic teaching method that arouses the interest of the students.
