Thus, the ethnobotanical survey of the medicinal plants that are considered as mystical in the island community of Trambioca, Barcarena, Pará was carried out. The collaborators were selected by a non-probabilistic approach "snowball sampling". To collect the data, a semi-structured questionnaire was applied, allowing flexibility and dialogue during the conversations with the research participants. Plant samples were collected through a guided tour. In the analysis of the data the profile of the interviewees and the botanical knowledge were verified. Fifty - five ethnoespecies were cited, of which 52 were identified botanically, distributed in 27 families and 41 genera. The families that stood out in this study as the most representative were Lamiaceae (8 species), Euphorbiaceae (4 species), Bignoniaceae, Asteraceae, Rutaceae, Zengiberaceae and Fabaceae with (2 species each). The medicinal flora of Trambioca Island has a high diversity of species and its residents have a great knowledge about this phytopharmacopoeia. The various forms of preparation and use of the home remedies produced, using medicinal plants, are an alternative for the treatment of diseases of the body and of the spirit. A relação do homem com mundo vegetal é estudada pela etnobotânica, onde também está inserida a farmacologia, a botânica, a antropologia, a agronomia, a ecologia. Assim, buscou-se fazer o levantamento etnobotânico das plantas medicinais que são consideradas como místicas na comunidade ilha Trambioca, Barcarena, Pará. Os colaboradores foram selecionados por uma abordagem não probabilística “bola de neve” (snowball sampling). Para coleta dos dados foi aplicado um questionário semi-estruturado, permitindo a flexibilização e o dialogo durante as conversas com os participantes da pesquisa. As amostras vegetais foram coletadas por meio de turnê guiada. Na análise de dados verificou-se o perfil dos entrevistados e o conhecimento botânico. Foram citadas 55 etnoespécies, sendo que 52 foram identificadas botanicamente, distribuídas em 27 famílias e 41 gêneros. As famílias que se destacaram neste estudo como as mais representativas foram Lamiaceae (8 espécies), Euphorbiaceae (4 espécies), Bignoniaceae, Asteraceae, Rutaceae, Zengiberaceae e Fabaceae com (2 espécies cada). A flora medicinal da ilha Trambioca possui elevada diversidade de espécies e seus moradores apresentam grande conhecimento a respeito desta fitofarmacopeia.
