Resumo:
This work aims to investigate how the celebration dedicated to the Good Jesus of the Cana-Verde River Maracapucu-Miri, because we know that Brazil is a mestizo country, which has several peoples, several cultures and several communities, where each one has a way of demonstrating their devotion, we can see this by observing the communities of our regions, both in the urban and rural areas. But regardless of how this happens, that is a moment of celebration for that population and in the celebration of Good Jesus of Cana-Verde is no different, there is a syncretic devotional art, a mixture of culture, rich in aesthetics, devotion and rites, many of these cultures have already undergone changes or even ceased to exist. In our region today is very present the dancing parties, parties of apparatuses, but already stop to think in, How did the communities come? How were the parties a few years ago? What rhythm did he play? The work will include bibliographical research, qualitative research with application of semi-structured interview, testimonies of community faithful and photographs, so we will delve into the subject to analyze and perceive the great differences that we find in a culture from one year to the next, stronger and others even cease to exist. Therefore, I finish the present work, but I believe that there are still countless testimonies and approaches on the origin and celebration of Good Jesus of the Green Cane that were not reported.
