Resumo:
The Basin of New Road (BNR) covers 8 districts of the city of Belem with a land area of 9.54 km ². We carried out the mapping of underground water flows over the hydrogeological system in order to analyze their relations with the occupation of the physical. The various constraints are geoenvironmental climate, rainfall, hydrology, vegetation, geomorphology, geology, pedology and hydrogeology. The process of occupation came in a disorderly manner, characterized by houses built on the banks of streams untreated sewage, several gas stations, lava jets, schools, hospitals, cemeteries and fairs. It presented an overview of some of the water cycle, watersheds, aquifers, groundwater and surface water and groundwater flows. It selected a set of twenty-six wells, where twenty-five are tubular and Amazons is that composed the data file. Concocted up a map of underground water flow which revealed the existence of two areas of recharge and discharge, the map was plotted on a base map of the area, with its diverse elements of urban occupation where they identified the presence of two cemeteries, the Santa Isabel and Soledade and a concentration of gas stations which constitutes an important potential source of contamination and dense agglomeration, which makes this sector very vulnerable area environmentally. Areas of refills should be environmentally protected, avoiding the processes of urban occupation and soil sealing with the consequent lack of infiltration of rainwater and the not supply aquifer.
