The Fourth Bidding of Blocks sponsored by Agencia Nacional of Petroleo has come to be seen as a new oil province. In this work, Tacutu Basin (RR) was selected as a study target aiming a geological model for a hypothetic petroleum system both for academic and also for exploration purposes. To achieve this were applied geological and geophysical data to obtain a good correlation of seismic data. Afterwards, data were processed and interpreted. At the same time, the efficiency of interpretation methodology was evaluated when it was applied to the basin complex geology. Seismic data treatment was performed in three phases: a) field data acquisition (pre-processing stage); b) data acquired processing
(data filtering); c) interpretation of processing of data (imaging). In this monograph,
pre-processing stage was based on previous studies about Tacutu Basin. For the next step, Common Reflection Surface (CRS) by WIT/CRS system was applied for processing a simulation of zero offset section by multi- layer covering data of 204 seismic group of Tacutu Graben. Finally, aiming to avoid inconsistencies of velocity analyzing for Semblance map, due the background noise, it was applied a CRS processing for a stack and migration section for interpreting the Tacutu Basin Petroleum System. |
