This text describes the experience in the management and development of a
software system that provides strategic information about characteristics of the state of
Pará to support the decision-making of government entities and private companies that
intend to invest in the state. It is a project that was started in a discipline of Software
Engineering practice of the undergraduate course in Computer Science of the Federal
University of Pará. The proposed software was developed based on requirements
provided by qualified managers linked to the State Government of Pará - in particular,
linked to the sectors of Economic Development and Tourism. The resulting product is
based on a graphical representation of the state map of Pará to display different layers of
information containing geolocalized data. |
