This article seeks to establish a relationship between Eça de Queirós's "No mill", more precisely, a trajectory, the character Maria da Piedade during a narrative with a trajectory and evolution of female strategies today, until the reach of their freedom. This comparison is made from three different moments of narrative, the memory of submission, contestation and personal freedom. Still, converge aspects of the work to the aspects of nineteenth-century society, to the values of Maria Ângela D'Incão's studies (2004) to talk about the role of women in the nineteenth, Antonio Candido (2006) to Rose Marie Muraro (1993), to talk about women's perspectives for the future of female oppression treatment and their perspectives for the future. |
