In this context, the teaching in multigrade classes present in the Field contemplates everyone equally, in order to obtain a good learning? Moreover, it aims to know if learning occurs in view of the complexity of the classes, specifically with fifth graders. In order to deepen the theme approached the research aimed to know how learning occurs in a multiseriate class in the community school São Sebastião, in the municipality of Barcarena-Pará. Aiming to understand the way of teaching, school performance and the challenges that teachers and students face this form of teaching in the Field education. The presented results occurred through the qualitative and quantitative research, where it was possible to use the following instruments for the data collection as: semi-structured interviews and application of questionnaire with teacher and student. Data collection occurred with only one teacher and five fifth graders. The research consisted of two stages: the bibliographic research where it was possible to consult the theoretical framework of authors such as Arroyo (2013), Barros (2010), Ferreira (2011) and Hage (2008) among others that portray the theme of rural education. And multigrade classes and Field research. Thus, the results indicate that the teaching in these classes is not of quality due to the fact that it presents several different classes and levels of learning as well as the age-grade distortion. The school has no pedagogical coordination and it became evident that it needs more teacher training. In this sense, the school needs to have a pedagogical political project that meets the realities of rural students in the context in which they live, providing permanence in school and thus obtaining a good performance in studies. The research also revealed that the ownership of school teaching to the family has done little at home to contribute to student learning. A educação do campo nada mais é como uma educação escolar específica que oportuniza o campo dentro de suas especificidades e garante a permanência dos sujeitos no lugar onde vivem. Nesse contexto, o ensino em classes multisseriadas presente no campo contempla a todos de forma igualitária, a fim de obter um bom aprendizado? Além do mais, objetiva-se saber se a aprendizagem ocorre em vista da complexidade da classe, especificamente com alunos do 5º ano. Com o intuito de aprofundar a temática abordada, a pesquisa teve como objetivo conhecer como ocorre a aprendizagem, em classe multisseriada, na escola da comunidade São Sebastião, no município de Barcarena-Pará, visando compreender a forma de ensino, o rendimento escolar e os desafios que professores e alunos enfrentam nesta forma de ensino na educação do campo. Os resultados apresentados ocorreram mediante a pesquisa qualitativa e quantitativa, onde foi possível utilizar os seguintes instrumentos para a coleta de dados como: entrevistas semiestruturadas e aplicação de questionário com professor e aluno. A coleta de dados ocorreu com apenas um professor e cinco alunos do 5º ano. A pesquisa constatou-se de duas etapas: a pesquisa bibliográfica, onde foi possível consultar referencial teórico de autores como Arroyo (2013), Barros (2010), Ferreira (2011) e Hage (2008) entre outros que retratam a temática de educação do campo e classes multisseriadas e a pesquisa de campo. Desta forma, os resultados apontam que o ensino nessas classes apresenta alguns problemas devido à sua complexidade de turmas e níveis de aprendizagens diferentes assim como a distorção idade-série. A escola não apresenta coordenação pedagógica e ficou evidente que precisa de mais formação para o professor. Nesse sentido, a escola necessita ter um projeto político pedagógico que atenda às realidades dos alunos do campo no contexto em que vivem, proporcionando a permanência na escola e obtendo desta forma um bom rendimento nos estudos.
