Methodology: 40 women diagnosed with Chikungunya fever were evaluated before and after multimodal physical therapy intervention for pain intensity and functional mobility by the visual analog pain scale (VAS) and timed up and go test (TUG), respectively. The statistical analysis was performed by Student’s t or Wilcoxon test and p < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: after therapeutic intervention there was a significant reduction in the values related to the perception of pain intensity in the lower limbs indicated by VAS (p<0.05) and in the time of execution of the TUG test (p<0.05). Conclusion: physical therapy intervention reduced pain in the lower limbs and improved functional mobility. Objetivo: avaliar o efeito da reabilitação fisioterapêutica na dor e mobilidade funcional de membros inferiores em pacientes na fase crônica da infecção pelo vírus Chikungunya. Metodologia: 40 mulheres com diagnóstico de febre de Chikungunya foram avaliadas antes e após intervenção fisioterapêutica multimodal quanto a intensidade da dor e a mobilidade funcional pela escala visual analógica de dor (EVA) e pelo timed up and go (TUG), respectivamente. A análise estatística foi realizada pelos testes t de Student ou Wilcoxon e p < 0,05 foi considerado estatisticamente significativo. Resultados: após o período de intervenção terapêutica houve redução significativa nos valores referentes a percepção da intensidade da dor em membros inferiores indicada pela EVA (p<0,05) e no tempo de execução do teste TUG (p<0,05).
