It is intended to understand that theater games are provided with contributions to a more comprehensive training of individuals who experience them, and through a theoretical analysis and practical experience highlight freedom, self-confidence, autonomy, community and knowledge of techniques in the theatrical language, and to arrive at these results the applied methodology was participant observation, in which the researcher participates directly in the activities throughout the course of observation, its main theoretical foundations in the generation of arguments of this study some authors, among them: Viola Spolin (2008), Ingrid Koudela (2006) and FaygaOstrower (2008) aimed at theatrical games and process of collective creation through the game. As a result of the research it was found that the use of theater games in the scenic experimental space provides sources of personal freedom, self-expression and autonomy, and promote knowledge and resourcefulness of theatrical language. Este trabalho busca dentro do universo dos jogos teatrais tratar da formação de conhecimentos geradas por meio deles no espaço da sala de ensaio do Grupo de Teatro Infanto-Juvenil da UFPA, apresentando as principais contribuições do uso dos jogos para os adolescentes do referido grupo. Pretende-se compreender que os jogos teatrais são munidos de contribuições para uma formação mais abrangente dos indivíduos que os vivenciam, e por meio de uma análise teórica e de experiência prática destacar a liberdade, confiança em si mesmo, autonomia, coletividade e conhecimentos de técnicas dentro da linguagem teatral, e para se chegar a tais resultados a metodologia aplicada foi de observação participante, na qual a pesquisadora participa de forma direta nas atividades durante todo o percurso de observação, tendo como principais fundamentações teóricas na geração de argumentos deste estudo alguns autores, dentre eles:Viola Spolin (2008), Ingrid Koudela (2006) e FaygaOstrower (2008) voltados aos jogos teatrais e processo de criação coletiva por meio do jogo.
