Resumo:
This work has as main objective, to analyze the importance of the use of the fable genre for acquisition of Reading in the early years of elementary school I, in a school of the municipality of new Reparting, state of Pará. In order to achieve this objective, a bibliographical survey was carried out, made in books, article, magazine, at last, in works by renowned authors who approached this thematic, as well as, a research-action, of qualitative character, held in the EMEF the Grove. In this sense, through the bibliographical revision and, mainly, through the action of the interwinding, carried out in the field of research, it was possible to realize how much this genre contributes both to the acquisition of reading and writing, because the results of Research-action revealed that the fable genre is a very important pedagogical tool to develop students ' interest in reading, understanding and interpreting texts, as well as for textual production. Therefore, the use of differentiated pedagogical practices is of paramount importance, aiming at the training of competent readers and writers.
