The aim of this work is to present the operation and the parts of the most common types of single - phase and three - phase asynchronous induction (squirrel - cage) starter motors in industries worldwide. CADe SIMU software was used in simulation of the drives, an effective and light program for this type of demonstration (drawing of diagrams). Here are the highlights: Direct Three-Phase Motor Start, Three-Phase Motor Star Triangle and Three Phase Motor Start Match; in a total of 10 drives. Regarding the electrical parameters, the measurements of the voltage, current, power and frequency were measured and the results were compared to know which of the methods was most effective. As load on the drives we used a three - phase induction asynchronous motor (squirrel cage type) - WEG of power P = kW (HP - CV) 0.18 (0.25). For the starting of the compensated starting, a three-phase starter autotransformer - WALTEC of power P = 1 CV (horsepower) was used. And to make the switching of the contactors in the triangle star starter a specific timer relay was used for this type of starter (triangle star) of the type: WEG - RTW RE.01. All the assemblies and tests of the drives were realized in the Laboratory of Energy Systems of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) – in the city of Tucuruí. |
