Aiming at a better use of resources available in nature, the composite gypsum appears as a
sustainable alternative and possibly stronger material mechanically. Therefore, searching for
an economical solution, technically and environmentally feasible was studied and analyzed
the material of significant importance and use in construction - gypsum, which is
characterized as a binder for use primarily by significant resistance to environments with high
temperature. Being added to this folder gypsum, vegetable fiber curauá, a native of the
Amazon region which has been widely used due to their strength and flexibility. The result
was satisfactory in the bending test, especially when compared to other composites analyzed,
demonstrating the possibility of using this material. In order to obtain a composite resistant to
absorption of water was added to the aloe mucilage powder plaster the folder. When
comparing the results obtained from this mixture of plaster and folders processed with
additives (superplasticizer and waterproofing), we obtained better results for the first
situation. As also seen, an increased length of handle, from the addition of aloe mucilage
plaster the folder. The results also undergone treatment ANOVA for better viewing. |
