A reflection on mathematical content is presented that can assist in the tasks of the Agent of
Combat of Endemic Diseases (ACDE), focusing on the orientation of these professionals. The
research was developed with supervisors and combat agents of endemic diseases in the city of
Castanhal - PA and had, as a research instrument, observation, photographic records and
interviews. It was observed that agents and supervisors have difficulties in perceiving the
inclusion of mathematical concepts in daily work, which cause fear in the practice of
mathematics in daily life. With a focus on the teaching-learning process of mathematics,
especially the concepts of geometry and measurement systems, it was found that mathematical
models are present in their community intervention. Finally, it was found that mathematics is
inserted and goes hand in hand with the work of the endemic combat agent, being important
for the completion of his daily work.
