The meteorological information was obtained from the ESECAFLOR project. The experiment area is located at coordinates 1° 44' 12.6942" S latitude, and 51° 27' 43.0049" W longitude, approximately 15 m above the mean sea level, where there is an automatic meteorological station, installed next to the top of a 40 m high micrometeorological tower among the trees. Data on global solar radiation, air temperature and relative humidity and net radiation were obtained by sensors. The records were made at 30-minute intervals and stored in a datalogger, from January 1 to December 31, 2019. Based on this information, the Allen and Brunt-Penman methods were used to estimate the net radiation and for means of statistical analysis to determine the method with the best application in the study area, as well as the one that presented the highest correlation between the measured and the estimated. O presente trabalho tem como área de estudo uma amostra da Floresta Nacional (FLONA) de Caxiuanã, localizada no município de Melgaço, estado do Pará, no leste da Amazônia. As informações meteorológicas foram obtidas do projeto Estudo da Seca da Floresta (ESECAFLOR). A área do experimento está situada nas coordenadas 1° 44' 12.6942" S de latitude, e 51° 27' 43.0049" W de longitude, aproximadamente, a 15 m acima do nível médio do mar, onde encontra-se uma estação meteorológica automática, instalada junto ao topo de uma torre micrometeorológica de 40 m de altura entre as árvores. Foram obtidos por sensores, dados de radiação solar global, temperatura do ar e umidade relativa e saldo de radiação. Os registros foram feitos em intervalos de 30 minutos e armazenados em um datalogger, no período de 01 de janeiro a 31 de dezembro de 2019. A partir dessas informações foram utilizados os métodos de Allen e Brunt-Penman para estimar o saldo de radiação e por meio de análise estatística determinar o método com melhor aplicação na área de estudo, bem como aquele que apresentou a maior correlação entre o medido e estimado.
