To this end, it aimed to analyze the advantages for teaching mathematics with the insertion of the Geogebra application for teaching graphical modeling of the quadratic function. The methodology used in this research was the field study with emphasis on a qualitative approach for the purpose of gathering more consistent information about teaching mathematics. It was carried out in a class of the first year of High School, in a state school in the city of Vigia de Nazaré-Pa. The methodology used in this research was the field study with emphasis on a qualitative approach for the purpose of gathering more consistent information on the teaching of Mathematics. The results point to an increasing trend in the use of new technologies, software and applications, as didactic resources used to assist in the teaching of various areas of knowledge, especially Mathematics. Este Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso investiga uso do aplicativo Geogebra como prática pedagógica para o ensino e aprendizagem do conteúdo de função quadrática. Para tanto, teve como objetivo analisar as vantagens para o ensino de Matemática com a inserção do aplicativo Geogebra para o ensino de modelagem gráfica da função quadrática. Como objetivos específicos esta pesquisa buscou verificar como o Geogebra pode contribuir para melhorar o rendimento dos alunos, bem como desenvolver reflexões sobre o uso desses recursos durante a atividade docente. A metodologia utilizada nesta pesquisa foi o estudo de campo com ênfase em uma abordagem qualitativa para fins de levantamento de informações mais consistentes sobre o ensino da Matemática. Foi realizada em uma turma do primeiro ano do Ensino Médio, em uma escola estadual da cidade de Vigia de Nazaré- Pa.
