Resumo:
Nowadays the increase in acai consumption in the Amazon region has been gaining the market, especially the external, the acai market is potentially expanding. Thus, there is a need for growth and expansion of planting to meet the demands of consumption. Thus, the objective of this work is to present the use of matrices to assist rural producers in the administration of açaí plantations, because the producer often faces difficulties in the administration and configuration of the forms of sustainable management to ensure the growth of production. Thus, the historical context of Matrices was presented at the beginning, approaching concepts, definitions and operations with matrices, then the configuration of açaí plantation on dry land and the field research carried out with the rural producers of the Cooperative of Rural Workers of Acará (COOPTRA) to present the demonstrations through the data obtained in the interviews. In addition, demonstrations were developed using the data reported by the interviewed farmers, where, first, the characteristics of the planting were compared so that a table was set up with the data obtained from the comparison between the planting and application of matrices and , then developed the application. Thus, the significant increasing result compared to the initial configuration of the planting informed by the farmers, so that when analyzing the application of the use of matrices in the planting of acai, it was noticed that the compared to the initial planting of each producer who participated in the field research.
