The present work aimed to model mathematically the production of this fruit in Pará through the use of logistic regression, using as a reference the data from the years 1996 to 2020. Açaí is a popular food source and an important product for the economy of the state of Pará. Due to its nutritional properties the marketing of this fruit is quite widespread in the national and inte rnational scenario and, for this reason, its production, which encompasses extractivism and pl anting, has been increasing every year. The model obtained indicated that, with the current rat e of growth in production, the maximum quantity of more than two million tons should be rea ched by 2045. |
