Resumo:
The present research emerged from a questioning in order to know if the Pedagogical Residency Program (PRP) contributes to the formation of students of the Degree in Pedagogy,here focused on the Abaetetuba Campus, Federal University of Pará. Therefore, this study aimed to answer the following question: How did the Pedagogical Residency Program (PRP) contribute to the training and professional performance of students of the Degree in Pedagogy,Campus de Abaetetuba-UFPA? The research has a qualitative character. The Experience Report of the author's experiences as a Resident Scholar in the Pedagogical Residency Program within the Pedagogy Course was adopted. It was observed in this study that there is still a lack of stimulus and preparation for the performance of the future education professional, licensing the Pedagogy Course, in the field of teaching. The study corroborates the aspect of teacher training that defends the dialogic articulation between educational theory and practice and the relationship between university and the daily life of the public basic school in the training process of future teachers and concludes that the Pedagogical ResidencyProgram influences and contributes in a fruitful way for the academic and professionaltraining of pedagogues who will work in Basic Education schools.
