The main objective of this work is to emphasize the importance of inclusive education in the early years. The theoretical framework of this work begins with a brief historical perspective on inclusive education for people with deafness, then it addresses education for deaf students in basic education, that is, in the early years of basic education, addressing this communication between deaf students and listeners within the classroom. Finally, the theoretical framework of this work addresses educational policies for students with deafness in Brazil, in the early years of basic education. Through this research it was observed that it is of enormous importance that schools can include the teaching of LIBRAS in the early years, so that this language can perpetuate itself as common, promoting more and more an egalitarian and inclusive education for students with hearing impairment. O presente artigo possui como importância a abordagem, a compreensão e a reflexão do ensino de LIBRAS (Língua Brasileira de Sinais) na educação básica, buscando responder à questão problemática de: por quais motivos a alfabetização em Libras não é integrada às aulas iniciais, mesmo sendo prescrita como segunda língua no Brasil além de entender como funciona o ensino de Libras nos primeiros anos na educação básica. O objetivo principal deste trabalho é ressaltar a importância da educação inclusiva nos anos iniciais. O referencial teórico deste trabalho começa com uma breve perspectiva histórica a respeito da educação inclusiva para pessoas com surdez, posteriormente aborda sobre a educação para alunos surdos na educação básica, ou seja, nos anos iniciais da educação infantil, abordando essa comunicação entre alunos surdos e ouvintes dentro da sala de aula. Por fim, o referencial teórico deste trabalho aborda sobre as políticas educacionais para alunos com surdez no Brasil, nos anos iniciais da educação básica.
