The city of Tucuruí goes through the problem of the lack of an Information System (IS) that has been effective for years, which in recent times has brought great inconvenience to users. With the reality faced by users of the Urban Public Transport (UPT) in the city, this study has elaborated a new IS that provides passengers with all the pertinent information to the displacement through the bus at the own stops with itinerary data of the lines that meet that Bus Stop through boards and panels. To do so, the field study of the Tucuruí UPT was used as a method for collecting information through the application of questionnaires with the users of the service and interviews with the contributors of the Viação Tucuruí, then the material collected was analyzed and it was verified the need to draw up an IS. Thus, in order to fill the gap in the current mode of reporting, a project was designed for bus stops with efficient and low-cost information boards. Through this research, it was possible to see under the user's
vision the most urgent needs to be met for the improvement of the modal in question, being the implantation of the new IS, a fundamental improvement for the quality of urban mobility.
