The main results obtained in this work are: the exact solution, the Ginzburg-Landau energy G(t) and the exponential decay property of the system.The analytical resolution of the problem was obtained by the variable separation method thanks to an appropriate choice of the reaction coefficient. With this, we start to consider a problem of initial value and another of contour value, which are solved. Regarding the exponential stabilization of total energy, we use multiplicative techniques to find the dissipation law and from there we apply the Poincaré and Jensen inequalities to construct the exponential decay estimate. Neste trabalho estudamos algumas propriedades quantitativas e qualitativas da equação de Allen-Cahn. A equação de Allen-Cahn tem sido amplamente estudada em diversas áreas da ciência e principalmente na evolução de microestruturas durante o processo de solidificação de um metal puro ou liga metálica. Os principais resultados obtidos neste trabalho são: a solução exata, a energia de Ginzburg-Landau G(t) e a propriedade de decaimento exponencial do sistema. A resolução analítica do problema foi obtida pelo método da separação de variáveis graças a uma escolha adequada do coeficiente de reação. Com isto, passamos a considerar um problema um de valor inicial e outro de valor de contorno, os quais são resolvidos.
