This work sought to investigate the most common fertilization practices in the cultivation of açaí in terra firme areas, in the municipality of Moju, in the lower Tocantins region of the state of Pará/Brazil. Açaí is an important fruit for the local and national economy and has been gaining ground in international trade, this is due to the fact that açaí is a fruit rich in proteins, fibers, lipids and some vitamins, it is also a good antioxidant, has good, amount of phosphorus, iron and calcium. The methodology used was based on a case study via a questionnaire to collect data from growers in the region, discussing the most common ways of growing the fruit and the fertilizers used, as well as the frequency with which the fertilizers are applied to the planting of açaí, in addition to issues related to sustainability, cultivated land, improvements after using fertilizers and irrigation systems. In this way, satisfactory results were found regarding the cultivation of açaí in the areas of terra firme, since the fertilizers used are (NPK and limestone chemical fertilizers, complemented with organic fertilizer animal manure, açaí seeds and leaves, palm loofah ) These fertilizers are applied two to three times a year or more depending on soil conditions.
