This work aims to guide the environmental diagnosis in the municipal urban perimeter
of Ferreira Gomes-AP to sensitize the municipal management about these areas before or during
the REURB process to be carried out by the city hall. For this, the methodological approach
called Grounded Theory was used as procedures, the application of qualitative questionnaires
to identify risk areas within the study area and mapping of these risks pointed out by the local
population. The main result was a map with the division of the area into blocks and these
divided by sectors - classification defined by the Ferreira Gomes City Hall -, as well as the main risks pointed out by the population, the largest being flooding due to low altitudes, runoff of
rainwater of places with higher altitudes and the incidence of hydroelectric dams in the course
of the Araguari River, with Ferreira Gomes bordered by it. |
