Thus, it becomes necessary to build and develop research that understands and explains to the community how this health crisis of 2020 directly influences Brazilian politics, the economy and society in the most negative way possible. In this sense, in this work, the reflections of several classic and modern authors will be analyzed and interpreted to understand the posture of the Brazilian State in combating the Covid-19 pandemic. To this end, the methodology used consisted of bibliographic research, whose theoretical references were reviews of books and articles by various authors that deal, in general, with the concepts of biopolitics and pandemic, based on philosophers such as Giorgio Agamben approaching critically about biopolitical devices and metropolis, Michel Foucault teaching about biopower and the use of epidemics as a form of social control and Achile Mbembe, who deals with necropolitics and the issue of anti-black racism in the face of the virus crisis. É necessário e relevante o debate sobre as repercussões sócio-políticas da pandemia na sociedade brasileira, diante da inação do atual presidente Jair Messias Bolsonaro durante todo o período pandêmico e diante de seu total desdém ao grande número de mortos pela doença no país. Desse modo, torna-se necessário construir e elaborar uma pesquisa que entenda e explique à comunidade como essa crise sanitária de 2020 influencia diretamente a política, a economia e a sociedade brasileira da forma mais negativa possível. Nesse sentido, neste trabalho, serão analisadas e interpretadas as reflexões de diversos autores clássicos e modernos para entender a postura do Estado Brasileiro no combate a pandemia do Covid-19. Para tanto, a metodologia utilizada consistiu em pesquisa bibliográfica, cujos referenciais teóricos foram resenhas de livros e artigos de vários autores que tratam, no geral, dos conceitos de biopolítica e pandemia, tendo por base filósofos como Giorgio Agamben abordando de modo crítico sobre dispositivos biopolíticos e metrópole, Michel Foucault ensinando sobre biopoder e uso das epidemias como forma de controle social e Achile Mbembe, o qual trata sobre a necropolítica e a questão do racismo anti-negro diante da crise do vírus. 2022-11-25T15:18:18Z 2022-11-25T15:18:18Z 2021-02-08 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Graduação ALBUQUERQUE, Thalia Bandeira Ferreira.
