Each climate file has a predefined period in relation to its cataloging of climate data, the data expressed in the SWERA climate file are between the years 1973 to 1997, that is, a statistical treatment is carried out over 25 years. In the case of the IWEC climate file, the years analyzed were from 1982 to 1995, so the statistical treatment is carried out over 14 years. The way of compiling climate data from these types of databases requires statistical treatment to enable its use in research that needs a final profile of climate data, as in the case of numerical simulations on thermal performance, or on the feasibility of implantation of photovoltaic energy plants, among other applications. It is noted that the pre-defined objectives in this study were achieved since it was possible to analyze and generate new climate profiles for data on dry bulb, wet bulb, direct solar radiation and diffuse solar radiation between the climate files of the SWERA and IWEC projects. Neste estudo utilizam-se duas bases de dados distintas para a realização de um tratamento estatístico sobre amostras da radiação solar e da temperatura do ar na cidade de Belém-PA comparando as bases e gerando perfis climáticos finais para cada arquivo climático. Cada arquivo climático possui um período pré-definido em relação a sua catalogação dos dados climáticos, os dados expressos no arquivo climático SWERA estão entre os anos de 1973 até 1997, ou seja, é feito um tratamento estatístico sobre 25 anos. No caso do arquivo climático IWEC os anos analisados foram de 1982 até 1995, logo, o tratamento estatístico é realizado sobre 14 anos. A forma de compilação de dados climáticos desses tipos de bases demanda a realização de tratamento estatístico para possibilitar o seu uso em pesquisas que precisam de um perfil final de dados climáticos, como nos casos de simulações numéricas sobre desempenho térmico, ou sobre a viabilidade de implantação de plantas de energia fotovoltaica, entre outras aplicações.
