This completion of course work aimed to know the impressions that graduates elementary school students have about the disciplines of chemistry and physics, as well as identify the main difficulties of the students related to the subjects Chemistry and Physics, as well as listing the main strategies teaching students had contact during elementary school. With that, here we highlight the importance of creating, providing, researching new methods to help improve the quality of teaching in science education. Appropriate teaching strategies can be a solution to problems generated in science education, these strategies are fleeing the traditional learning model. We chose a survey founded and supported the principles of qualitative approach to this work. We surveyed data through questionnaires with open and closed questions and theoretical frameworks related to the topic in question. Was used as a sample of students of the 1st year of high school studying in a public school in the municipality of Breves - research. Pará The data were organized and analyzed according to the principles of the analysis set out in the course of this project. The results of the questionnaires show that the strategies are not used optimally by most science teachers which can cause learning difficulties for students. It is vital that during the formation process, the teacher acquires techniques, methods, strategies and tools appropriate and necessary for the performance of its function as qualified for their professional area of expertise. |
