Analysis of preservation processes in the collection of the Rural Center and Training and Community Action in Pará (CRUTAC-PA) in the Central Archive of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). The present work aims to demonstrate the importance of preserving documents for access to information from the CRUTAC-PA documentation, specifically on the internalization of UFPA between the 1970 and 1980. A bibliographic survey was carried out in books, theses, dissertations and, based on interviews, exploratory analysis and case study, in situ study in the collection. Potentialities in preservation and documental management processes were identified, but also the need to include suggestions and procedures in order to raise the awareness of UFPA's servers and managers regarding the protection of the documents of this collection, thus enhancing the information contained in this documentary set.
