It seeks to combine economic and social development with respect for nature, aiming to preserve natural resources for future generations. Architecture projects and their execution are included in this context and perhaps, it is one of the main activities that could enable the achievement of a more sustainable world, its responsibility in the consumption of materials, the use of constructive techniques that use less resources and the creation of solutions that enable the reduction of energy consumption. Concomitantly, with international awareness of the threats that predatory exploration of resources would bring to nature, ecotourism arises. A new form of leisure tourism that takes tourists to visit places in search of an experience with nature in its purest state. This work seeks to contribute with a proposal for the creation of an architectural project, combining the best practices of the sustainable architecture and the potential of a new way of exploring the tourist activity in the island of Combu, in order to insert in the process of economic development, the riverside communities and the preservation of the environment. A sustentabilidade tem entrado em foco em todos os setores da sociedade contemporânea. Busca-se aliar o desenvolvimento econômico e social ao respeito com a natureza, objetivando preservar recursos naturais para as gerações futuras. Projetos de arquitetura e sua execução não deixam de estar inseridos neste contexto e talvez, seja uma das principais atividades que poderão possibilitar o alcance de um mundo mais sustentável, por sua responsabilidade no consumo de materiais, o emprego de técnicas construtivas que utilizem menos recursos e a criação de soluções que possibilitem a redução do consumo de energia. Concomitantemente, com a tomada de consciência internacional sobre as ameaças que a exploração predatória dos recursos trariam para a natureza, surge o ecoturismo. Uma nova forma de lazer turístico que leva os turistas a visitar locais em busca de uma experiência com a natureza em seu estado mais puro. Este trabalho busca contribuir com proposta para a criação de projeto arquitetônico, aliando as melhores práticas da arquitetura sustentável e o potencial de uma nova forma de exploração da atividade turística na ilha do Combu, de maneira a inserir no processo de desenvolvimento econômico, as comunidade ribeirinhas e a preservação do meio ambiente. 2023-07-10T19:42:54Z 2023-07-10T19:42:54Z 2019-12-17 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Graduação AQUINO.
