Through literature review we found support in the scenario that builds and dictates the social posture of environmental management. The current discussion of the main currents of thought in Environmental Management was characterized, identified and understood in search of a dialectical confrontation with the main laws and public entities. At the end of the thematic development, we delve more precisely, on where it fits, the environmental variable. As a conclusion, we understand that ensuring health and environmental quality is everyone's duty, provided that we take into account the environmental variable, this, sine qua non, for future and current generations. Foi realizada a revisão bibliográfica delimitada a obter respostas, junto a autores como Denis Donaire, Ignacy Sachs, em busca de saber quais os limites da ética e da política dentro de um universo culto e plural indicativo as verdadeiras necessidades da gestão ambiental e do ambiente artificial. Através de revisão da literatura encontramos apoio no cenário que constrói e dita a postura social da gestão ambiental. Foi Caracterizado, identificado e compreendida a discussão atual das principais correntes de pensamento da Gestão Ambiental em busca de um confronto dialético com as principais leis e entidades públicas. Ao final do desenvolvimento temático, concluiu se, mais precisamente, onde se encaixa, à variável ambiental.
