The manual seeks to serve as an aid script that allows the understanding of the structural behavior through a practical dimensioning, explaining step by step how to carry out the dimensioning process. The development of the work was based on a didactic approach, using illustrations to facilitate the understanding of the concepts. The procedures were developed sequentially, aiming to provide a clear methodology to be followed by everyone in the area, using the TQS software as a tool for carrying out the calculations and analysis of the structure. The manual covers the main elements used in Civil Construction, such as slabs, beams, pillars and foundations. The chapters were structured in a clear and organized way, presenting the necessary steps for the proper dimensioning of the elements, from the definition of the acting loads to the verification of the safety criteria established by the technical standards. As a result, the manual achieved its main objective, providing a practical and complete guide for the design of structural elements, using the TQS software. The proper application of the techniques and concepts presented will contribute to the safety and quality of the structures to be analyzed. O presente trabalho consiste na elaboração de um manual utilizando o software TQS, com o objetivo de servir como um guia de referência para os discentes de engenharia civil e profissionais da área. O manual busca servir de roteiro de auxílio que permita a compreensão do comportamento estrutural por meio de um dimensionamento prático, explicando passo a passo como realizar o processo de dimensionamento. O desenvolvimento do trabalho foi pautado em uma abordagem didática, utilizando ilustrações para facilitar a compreensão dos conceitos. Os procedimentos foram elaborados de forma sequencial, visando fornecer uma metodologia clara a ser seguida a todos da área, utilizando o software TQS como ferramenta para a execução dos cálculos e análise da estrutura. O manual abrange os principais elementos utilizados na Construção Civil, tais como lajes, vigas, pilares e fundações. Os capítulos foram estruturados de forma clara e organizada, apresentando as etapas necessárias para o dimensionamento adequado dos elementos, desde a definição das cargas atuantes até a verificação dos critérios de segurança estabelecidos pelas normas técnicas. Como resultado, o manual alcançou seu objetivo principal, proporcionando um guia prático e completo para o dimensionamento de elementos estruturais, utilizando o software TQS.
