The specific objectives were to present the SEGUP and DOPS/PA; to contextualize the APEP and the identification and collection activities of the DOPS/PA collection; and to present the collection based on its documental treatment and access. To carry out this work, the method of qualitative documentary research and bibliographical survey was used, as well as an APEP report on the DOPS/PA collection and a semi-structured interview with the director of APEP. As a result, it was possible to understand, through historical contextualization, the production of these documents, and the origin and storage of them, as well as their role in society. Thus, it is possible to conclude that the availability of these documents can contribute to future research and the promotion of rights, helping to better understand the historical period in which these documents were created and operational ways of DOPS/PA. Este trabalho de conclusão de curso (TCC) tem como finalidade descrever as atividades de identificação e recolhimento, tratamento e acesso ao acervo DOPS/PA, pertencente ao fundo arquivístico da Secretaria de Segurança Pública (SEGUP), custodiado pelo Arquivo Público do Estado do Pará (APEP). Como objetivos específicos, buscou-se apresentar a SEGUP e o DOPS/PA; contextualizar o APEP e as atividades de identificação e recolhimento do acervo DOPS/PA; e apresentar o Acervo a partir de seu tratamento documental e acesso. Para realização deste trabalho, foi utilizado o método de pesquisa documental qualitativa e levantamento bibliográfico, além de um relatório do APEP sobre o acervo DOPS/PA e entrevista semi-estruturada com o atual diretor do APEP. Como resultado, foi possível compreender, através da contextualização histórica, a produção desses documentos e se familiarizar com as suas instituições de origem e guarda, assim como o seu papel na sociedade. Ademais, foi possível compreender como se deu o recolhimento, tratamento e acesso ao Acervo.
