The present work proposes to discuss issues that emerge from aspects about the National Literacy Pact at the Right Age (PNAIC), with the aim of listing the main actions of the program, having as partners the state public networks and municipal schools, in the context of public educational policy, among which the literacy and literacy of students in the first cycle of elementary school and the continuing education of teachers. The purpose of the PNAIC is to teach literacy all children up to 08 years of age who are duly enrolled in public schools that belong to the first cycle of fundamental education. This Government program operates with a teacher training project, which takes place from courses in partnership with Federal Universities, whose modality is known as continuing teacher education. Therefore, it is of paramount importance the relationship between pedagogy and linguistics, although both have specific, they act directly in the formation and literacy of the individual since the Portuguese language discipline is essential to contribute to the process of student literacy and citizenship. To achieve these goals, it was a documentary and bibliographic research was carried out based on authors such as Soares (1998), Fazenda (1991) and Gatti (1991), who discuss related issues educational public policies, such as continuing education and literacy. Based on this study, on the PNAIC proposal, it was concluded that the training and its structure contribute to understanding the importance of the Portuguese for the literacy of children in the early years and that many challenges are set to materialize literacy and literacy as a right of all child. |
