The generation of Health Service Waste (RSS) in non-compliance with legislation (the main legislation being that of the National Health Surveillance Agency – Collegiate Board Resolution – ANVISA RDC nº 222/2018, Law 12.305/2010 and National Council Resolution of the Environment nº 358/2005) and its competent bodies causes socio-environmental and human health damage. Given this, this study sought to investigate the management of the RSS, of the Family Health Program at the Governador Almir Gabriel Health Post, located in the district of Maracajá, municipality of Novo Repartimento-Pará. Evaluating the procedures adopted by the Health Post for the management of waste from healthcare services and whether they comply with the requirements of the legislation referred to above. And identify the knowledge of health professionals regarding management and its adjustments, finally preparing an evaluation of the RSS in the family health program and proposing improvements based on the results found. |
