The present study addresses the issue of the influence that the National High School Examination - ENEM currently has on the teaching of the Physical discipline. Currently, most schools are working with this focus and physics teachers need to adapt their methodologies so that they give contextualized classes, which must interconnect the topics studied with the students' daily lives, making the discipline classes more interesting and closer to reality . Such a procedure makes Physics cease to be an abstract subject and become a subject understood in the students' real and practical situations. In addition, the study carried out here demonstrates that the main function of ENEM is to measure the quality of the Brazilian educational system, which requires its improvement and continuous improvement. Another job of the exam is to act as an advisor to the Brazilian educational system in a broad way. The study in question also points out that, during the development of ENEM, with the proposal of the new High School, this became the only mechanism of access to universities and federal institutes. As a result, education had to undergo significant changes, since it is in ENEM that the questions and considerations of the Ministry of Education - MEC are evaluated. Within this context, the research also reveals that it is fundamental for the Physics teacher, to continue evolving and looking for different ways to use the materials and didactic techniques, as some elements that are present in a playful way in the students' lives inside the classes, since you will understand that the complete training of the student will enable him to overcome any type of evaluation system that is proposed to him, such as ENEM itself.
