This work is about the memories experienced by me, a Quilombola woman from the Amazon of Pará during my internship at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). The objective of which was an exchange between riverside, indigenous, quilombola and traditional community students from different courses and campuses of the Federal University of Pará and scientific research projects at UNICAMP. The internship took place at the Food Innovation laboratory (LINA)FE/UNICAMP, in the research project “methods for preserving food quality”, where several industrial food preservation techniques were developed and various equipment was used for this process. The objective of this internship was that, based on my experiences, I could learn about other methods of food preservation and thus provide me with new experiences about food preservation and that this knowledge would be put into practice in the future in my community. Thus, the internship allowed me to experience other cultures, knowledge and customs, in addition to making me understand the importance of science and empirical knowledge for society and especially for people from traditional communities. |
