In order to develop this research, we used the exploratory and descriptive research, which aims at the documental analysis of the proposed theme through references of authors who discuss the subject about school, family and early childhood education. The type of approach was qualitative and the technique was the semi-structured interview, applied to parents and teachers of two schools located in the region of the islands of the municipality of Abaetetuba. The research data were collected over a period of four months, taking into account the theoretical arguments necessary for the construction of this work. The school must be of quality. You need to know a lot about the child's development and how it learns to have a positive impact. O presente trabalho de conclusão de curso tem como objetivo analisar como se dá o cuidar e o educar, por meio de práticas pedagógicas e como a relação familiar está presente e é indispensável neste processo. Para desenvolver esta pesquisa, utilizou-se a pesquisa exploratória e descritiva, que visa na análise documental do tema proposto por meio de referências de autores que discutem o assunto sobre escola, família e educação infantil. O tipo de abordagem foi a qualitativa e a técnica foi a da entrevista semiestruturada, aplicada a pais e professores de duas escolas localizadas na região das ilhas do município de Abaetetuba. Os dados da pesquisa foram coletados em um período de quatro meses, levando em consideração a argumentação teórica, necessária para construção deste trabalho. A escola precisa ser de qualidade.
