The procession is marked by collective construction, a city and its people, valuing artistic expression and cultural heritage. The intrinsic relationship between the Auto do Círio and the city is explored, highlighting urban scenography as a visual language that enriches its identity. The research was based on qualitative methodology with a descriptive basis in the experience report, in addition to the search for theorists in the areas of theater and scenography. This study contributes significantly to the understanding of the interaction between scenography and theater, emphasizing the relationship of the Cidade Velha neighborhood and the Auto do Círio as a spectacle that goes beyond the street procession, transforming the city into a stage of celebration, tradition, and art. O Auto do Círio, é uma homenagem artística à Nossa Senhora de Nazaré, em forma de cortejo pelas ruas de Belém, criando experiências únicas e pessoais, promove uma comunhão cultural e artística na cidade. O espetáculo envolve devoção, fé e diversidade, transcendendo barreiras religiosas. O cortejo é marcado pela construção coletiva, uma cidade e suas pessoas, valorizando a expressão artística e o patrimônio cultural. A relação intrínseca entre o Auto do Círio e a cidade é explorada, destacando a cenografia urbana como linguagem visual que enriquece a sua identidade. A pesquisa foi feita com base na metodologia qualitativa tendo embasamento descritivo no relato de experiência, além da busca por teóricos nas áreas de teatro e cenografia.
