In the Amazon, backyards have particularities, combining cultural habits and productive diversity. In the quilombola community of Vila União/Campinas, these spaces are popularly called terreiros. This article aims to describe the contribution of socio-productive yards to ensuring Food Sovereignty and Security, with special attention to the involvement of women in the development of these spaces. The construction of the data on which the analyzes are based took place between April 2021 and June 2022 and was based on bibliographical research to contextualize the reality to be researched, on participant observation and on semi-structured interviews, with the aim of listening to families. quilombolas and understand their socio-productive dynamics. The use of a field diary and photographic record complement these instruments. Eighteen quilombola women were involved in this research. The predominance of female work was verified; women are primarily responsible for the management carried out, as well as for the choice of what is cultivated. In the 18 terreiros visited, 45 fruit species, 38 medicinal species were found, in addition to raising chickens, ducks and pigs. These terreiros are evidenced as biodiverse spaces that contribute significantly to guaranteeing Food and Nutrition Security and Sovereignty for quilombola families. Furthermore, these spaces materialize as territories for socializing ancestral knowledge, health care for quilombola families, and leisure and contemplation. Os quintais agroflorestais são espaços que permitem a combinação de cultivos e a criação de pequenos animais. Na Amazônia, os quintais têm particularidades, aliam hábitos culturais e diversidade produtiva. Na comunidade quilombola de Vila União/Campinas, esses espaços são popularmente chamados de terreiros. Este artigo tem como objetivo descrever a contribuição dos terreiros socioprodutivos para a garantia da Soberania e Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional, com especial atenção ao envolvimento das mulheres no desenvolvimento desses espaços. A construção dos dados que embasam as análises se deu entre abril de 2021 e junho de 2022 e respaldou-se, na pesquisa bibliográfica, para contextualizar a realidade a ser pesquisada, na observação participante e em entrevistas semiestruturadas, com o intuito de ouvir as famílias quilombolas e compreender suas dinâmicas socioprodutivas. O uso do diário de campo, registro fotográfico complementam esses instrumentais. Foram envolvidas nessa pesquisa 18 mulheres quilombolas. Foi verificada a predominância do trabalho feminino; as mulheres são as principais responsáveis pelos manejos realizados, como também quanto à escolha do que é cultivado. Nos 18 terreiros visitados, encontrou-se 45 espécies frutíferas, 38 espécies medicinais, além da criação de galinhas, patos e porcos. Esses terreiros evidenciam-se como espaços biodiversos que contribuem significativamente com a garantia da Soberania e Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional das famílias quilombolas.
