Neste trabalho realizaremos um estudo acerca da utilização da integral no cálculo de áreas. Iniciaremos falando sobre alguns conceitos que posteriormente irão definir o que será a integral de Riemann. O estudo continua com a relação da integral com o cálculo de várias áreas como as de superfície de revolução e em coordenadas polares.
