The research is anchored in the studies of: Gama (2006), Loya et al (2009), Monteiro and Bradelli (20017), among others that allow us to understand that the use of medicinal plants is an ancient practice, passed on older generations and is strongly linked to popular knowledge. In turn, the empirical data were built through a qualitative research based on the theoretical assumptions of Oral History, carried out with 06 (six) residents of the Neighborhood in question. From the narratives of the interviewees, it is contextualized that Bairro Primavera has a history of construction linked to the use of medicinal plants and this is based on the knowledge of the elderly with whom we dialogued, in the same way, it is considered that when remembering the use of medicinal plants today, the elderly interact with their collective memories shared with others with whom they coexisted and still reverberate popular knowledge that will permeate future generations. O presente estudo objetiva entender a partir do grupo de idosos selecionado, de que forma o uso de plantas medicinais está relacionado com o conhecimento popular e com a história de formação do Bairro Primavera, em Cametá-Pará. A pesquisa encontra-se ancorada nos estudos de: Gama (2006), Loya et al (2009), Monteiro e Bradelli (20017), dentre outros que nos permitem entender que o uso das plantas medicinais. Trata-se de uma prática antiga, repassada às gerações pelos mais velhos e encontra-se fortemente ligada aos saberes de cunho popular. Por sua vez, os dados empíricos foram construídos por meio de uma pesquisa qualitativa alicerçada nos pressupostos teóricos da História Oral, realizada com 06 (seis) moradores do Bairro em questão. A partir das narrativas dos entrevistados contextualiza-se que o Bairro Primavera possui uma história de construção ligada a utilização das plantas medicinais e isto encontra-se vivificado nos saberes dos idosos com quem dialogamos, de igual modo, considera-se que ao relembrar o uso das plantas medicinais na atualidade os idosos interagem com as suas memórias coletivas compartilhadas com os outrem com quem mantiveram convívio e relações sociais, e ainda reverberam conhecimentos de cunho popular que perpassarão às gerações futuras. 2024-10-21T13:05:44Z 2024-10-21T13:05:44Z 2023-06-28 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Graduação - Artigo SILVA, Débora Reis da.
