This paper makes a quantitative nature study on the number of human individuals affected by leishmaniasis in the region of Portel Pará between the years 2011-2015 and with the theoretical foundation, the Vigilance Manual of American Cutaneous Leishmaniasis - Ministry of Health. 2nd edition and other scientific papers published with the intention to describe: concept, parasite, classification, vector infestation areas, life cycle of sandflies, the pathogen transmission and mapping of the affected areas in the country. The work is justified by the fact that there is no publication of the number of individuals and their quantitative positive results; so also aims to carry out a bibliographic study on local records present in the Municipal Health Portel-Pará. Was made tabulating the information found in the book of records of cases and distributed monthly indicating the number of infected individuals, distribution areas - rivers of Portel and urban areas, by gender and type of diagnosis, besides the number of infected in general. As a result, it was seen that no data of infected individuals in other regions and the annual percentage observed in the charts, but were only diagnosed in within the city and yet were only diagnosed in the city of Portel, otherwise, no infestation advertising campaign or contagion in Portel area. |
